How to get to 90A High Street:-
Coming on to Canvey Island from the mainland make towards the town centre.
Once you find the one way system
follow it round until you approach the exit with the National Westminster Bank
on your right. Leave at this exit and the dental surgery is about 100 yards
up the road on your right. There is parking at the back of the surgery
and this can be reached via Venables Close which is the first turning on the
right once you have left the one way system. This turning is located just past
the Canvey Supply Centre (Builders' Merchants), and is about midway between
NatWest Bank and the dental surgery. The practice is accessible to wheelchairs, and has many existing patients
who are wheelchair users.

I studied dentistry at the London Hospital in Whitechapel. I qualified as a dentist in 1986 by gaining my Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree (BDS). I am currently the Secretary of the Southend section of the British Dental Association, and Treasurer of the Essex Local Dental Committee. Established in 1987 my dental surgery is a family based single dentist practice with support from receptionists and dental nurses. The premises was previously a "fancy goods" shop, and previous to that a hardware store. Treatment is available under NHS regulations and privately. Currently (2008) I am taking on new NHS patients, but there is a wait of about six months for new patients wishing to be seen by me. If you wish to do this then either telephone my receptionist 9:00 am - 12.00 am, or 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm weekdays and she will book an appointment for you, probably in about six months time. The same applies to prospective private patients. I'm not at present seeing new emergencies, or toothache patients as I used to do. If you are in this situation then the telephone number to ring is 01268 464500 to speak to a representative of the South East Essex Primary Care Trust.
